Urban Farming
Rooftop Garden – This is 1,000 sq. feet at the top of the building where CORE is located. Because of the altitude of the roof, it has a different climate than ground level. Currently, we are experimenting to discover which plants thrive in this space. Perennial herbs as well as vegetables are grown here. Honey bees live on the roof during seasons when weather permits.

Roof top Garden Goals:
-provide a healing oases for enjoying nature in an urban setting.
-bring together community to connect with sacred land and plants.
-share programming with children, families and the community regarding food as medicine, gardening, herbalism and group exercise.
-harvest produce, herbs and honey products to share with others.
